HAA Top Haunts 2026 Announced
HAA TOP HAUNTS Program
The Haunted Attraction Association (HAA), the only official association in the haunt industry, has certified haunts across the country as official “Top Haunted Attractions.” To be certified, attractions must be a member of HAA and meet a list of 10 criteria relating back to the mission of HAA – to protect customers, promote haunted attractions, and educate industry professionals.

In 2025 the HAA expanded the Top Haunts program to include smaller and newer haunted attractions that follow the same criteria.

About the haa Top haunts program
In 2025, we expanded the HAA Top Haunts program to include more haunts that are following good safe business practices.
It’s one thing to be awarded by travel sites and tourists, it’s another to be recognized in your own industry by your peers. For years, a haunt had to be around 10 plus years and have at least 10,000 visitors along with a few other safe business qualifications to recognized as a Top Haunt by The Haunted Attraction Association, or HAA, the only official haunt industry association.
The new revised program will recognize haunts that have more than 2 and 5 years plus attendance of 3,000 and 5,000 plus respectively as well. The original version is called Iconic Platinum, with new additions called Silver and Gold.
To be certified, attractions must be a member of HAA and meet a list of 10 criteria relating back to the mission of HAA – to protect customers, promote haunted attractions, and educate industry professionals. To be included is a massive honor and shows you truly are dedicated to the horror craft.
